Project Outline

6.3km of 900-1800mm cement mortar lines steel watermain primarily installed in a 2700mm diameter bored tunnel in Queenston / Red Shale. The tunnel crosses under the QEW and the GO rail corridor. Subcontractors are performing the welding, pipe grouting and secant pile installation.

Shaft Descriptions

The job has 4 shafts. The main shaft is secant pile wall 13m in Diameter and 36.5m deep. One is caisson drilled at 4.5m diameter 45.75m deep. One is rib and lagging to the rock / soil interface.
